Showcase at Claver Gym

This is the reason for the hatred and resentment between young adults and their older "counterparts". As a black woman Etta James was suppose to be happy that a younger person like Beyonce is continuing Etta's legacy by producing a film based on her rise to stardom and also singing her song at the most historic inauguration ever. Our older leaders who laid the foundation need to stop being jealous and judgemental of our younger leaders. Etta even said that President OBama is not her president because of her jealousy. How can downplay something that would have Malcom X and Martin Luther King smiling from up above. So what your song was being sung you should feel honored. To make matters worse instead of apologizing for your juvenile statement you said that you was joking. This is why young people don't appreciate our older people the way we suppose to because of stupid actions like this that is usually expected from the younger generation. Ms. Etta you was not just joking you need to apologize to Beyonce and my President Obama.
